Design Considerations

Illinois Blower offers custom blowers with insulated housings or steam jacketed construction to meet your rugged thermal requirements. Steam Jacketed construction can be used for service in sulfur recovery systems and other critical applications. Our unique design prevents condensation and sulfur solidification. Solidification can plug the system and lead to severe mechanical problems. Housing insulation may increase blower safety for operating personnel and control heat loss through the fan casing. Fiberglass and other insulation materials are available. Cooling jackets are also available if required.
